Fluke announces the launch of the new Fluke TiX520 and TiX560 infrared cameras with a 180-degree steerable lens and a high-end image display with the only 5.7-inch LCD touchscreen in its class.

The new Fluke TiX520 and TiX560 infrared cameras feature a 5.7-inch LCD touchscreen, the largest screen in its class, with a field of view 150% larger than 3.5-inch screens. This large screen allows professionals to detect problems more quickly while staying in the field and easily edit images directly on the camera. This allows them to become more productive and spend more time solving problems.

With their 180-degree rotating lens, these new infrared cameras capture images even in the most difficult-to-reach places and angles. They are ideal for preventive maintenance, research and development, oil and gas fields as well as applications where flexibility and maximum resolution are essential parameters.

The new Fluke TiX520 and TiX560 infrared cameras are also equipped with SuperResolution mode, which multiplies the camera's resolution by four: the normal resolution of 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels) for The captured images can therefore be increased to 640 x 480 (307,200 pixels) to reveal even more detail and thus better identify problems that might not have been spotted with lower resolution cameras. Optional wide-angle lens and lens offers more versatility to allow cameras to adapt to even more applications.

Blurred images can result in incorrect temperature measurements with a lag of up to 20 degrees, making it more difficult to detect any potential problems. To ensure continuous sharp images, the Fluke TiX520 and TiX560 cameras are equipped with The LaserSharp automatic focus, a Fluke-exclusive, which uses a built-in laser rangefinder to calculate and display the target's distance with surgical precision.

These new cameras are also equipped with Fluke IR-Fusion technology with Picture-in-Picture modes, visible light and AutoBlend to make it easier for professionals to detect problems and make reports. Built-in advanced analytics features allow users to adjust or improve images directly on the camera, without the need for additional software. Fluke's SmartView software, also included, offers a suite of advanced tools for displaying, optimizing, annotating and analyzing infrared images. It also generates fully customizable business reports.

 Fluke Connect

The Fluke TiX520 and TiX560 models are equipped with Fluke Connec technology, the world's most extensive connected tool system, which allows technicians to wirelessly transmit data and measurements from their tools (including infrared cameras) to their smartphones and tablets, then store them safely on the cloud and share this with their teams. The Fluke Connect app is available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Compared to portable industrial infrared cameras equipped with a 320 x 240 resolution detector (as of February 2, 2015).
