The city of Châtillon is the first city on the island of France to set up an eco-responsible programme for the benefit of citizens in order to diagnose energy efficiency in the habitat. To carry out this project, the city of Châtillon chose Fluke thermal imaging cameras.
Since 2006, the municipality of Châtillon has embarked on an eco-responsibility process by involving the Châtillonnais in awareness-raising activities.
Recently, the city of Châtillon has extended this program to housing, as Pascale Malherbe, Deputy Mayor of the city of Châtillon responsible for sustainable development, says: "The municipality has developed a project around energy efficiency in the habitat. It seemed natural to us to offer the Châtillonnais an innovative tool: the thermal camera."
The municipality of Châtillon has chosen Fluke thermal imaging cameras as part of this eco-responsible project. Thus, the city lends the inhabitants of Châtillon a Fluke thermal camera in order to carry out energy diagnoses of their homes simply and efficiently in order to detect failures and reduce energy consumption in the home. Upon return of the loan, the photos of the diagnosis are analysed with the Eco-Responsibility Mission Officer of the city of Châtillon in order to draw up an inventory of the situation.
Fluke is proud to have been chosen by the city of Châtillon, the first city in the Ile-de-France to implement this eco-responsible system for the benefit of citizens.
