2015 has been declared "International Year of Light and Light Technology" by UNESCO. To mark the occasion, SOLEIL is opening its doors to the public on certain evenings and weekends. 3 dates are available:
- Saturday, June 13, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 16, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
- Thursday, July 2, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
On the program: a guided tour of the Synchrotron building lasting around 1h30, in small groups of 15. Learn how SOLEIL works on the models, then admire the synchrotron's various gas pedals, before moving on to the control room.
Attention
- Limited number of places available
- Each group will be accompanied by a SOLEIL
- For safety reasons, visits by pacemaker wearers and children under 12 are not permitted.
- You will be asked to show proof of identity at reception.
