Flir Systems has announced the release of the FLIR T1020, a high-end thermal imaging camera that can be used for many industrial and diagnostic applications in buildings. The T1020 is a high-definition portable device that provides exceptional measurement quality, unrivalled image sharpness and an extremely responsive user interface. The T1020 allows users to quickly find hot spots, measure them accurately and optimize the entire work process.
The T1020 delivers exceptional image quality thanks to the 1024 x 768 pixel uncooled infrared detector, which has twice the industry standards for uncooled sensors. This resolution is optimized by the addition of Flir Vision Processing, a technology that combines UltraMax, Flir's exclusive high-resolution processing, with MSX's patented image enhancement software, which provides the high-resolution thermal image with an effect of perspective and important visual details, such as numbers and labels. Advanced image processing features provide the best possible image quality in a compact format.
High-definition imaging requires high-precision optics and the T1020's lenses perform well. The T1020 features the Flir OSX system, a precision IR HD optical set that delivers superior image quality and wide range, and allows accurate thermal measurements to be performed at a distance twice the standard market target. The T1020 also features a new development system. It allows for continuous autofocus and manual dynamic focus.
