Optis will offer its customers a new dimension and broaden its range of solutions. The company has assembled a team of experts in the field of acoustic signal processing and sound perception analysis. Based in Aix-en Provence, the company also creates audio simulators and 3D listening systems for major accounts in France and abroad.
The two companies, which are experts in two highly complex areas of physical simulation: sound for Genesis and light for Optis, will now offer their customers a joint package. "I was attracted by all the similarities between our two companies, and also by the fact that we had a very large number of customers in common, including Renault, Airbus, Hyundai, Nissan and Chrysler, says Jacques Delacour, Optis CEO. Our company is currently experiencing a period of very rapid growth, and we expect to exceed 200 employees by the end of 2015. The rapid growth of Optis in visualization and lighting augurs well for the future of Genesis in acoustics and sound.".
"By joining the Optis group, we will be able to develop our cross-disciplinary expertise and accelerate our product offering on an international scale. Optis' vision is totally in line with Genesis; we share the same vision that the simulation of perceived physical phenomena, whether by sight or hearing, is an essential way of studying human perception and designing tomorrow's products."says Patrick Boussard, Genesis founder.
With the acquisition of Genesis, Optis is ushering in a new era, in which emotion is placed at the heart of the virtual experience, thanks to the senses and human perception.
