Enova Paris closed its doors on September 24, recording a slight increase (+2 %) in the number of visitors, with 4,978 professionals from both research and industry, and an increase in the number of visitors from design offices. The number of visitors from the automotive and transport sectors also increased, as did those from the building and civil engineering sector, driven by the growing importance of home automation and smart building issues.
Another strong market trend well represented at the show was e-health, reflected in the increased number of visitors from the medical equipment and paramedical sectors. Among the 418 exhibitors present, including 16 % internationals from 14 countries, embedded and communicating systems once again made their mark at this year's show, as evidenced by the increase in the range of products on offer in the "embedded & connected objects" area, and the presence this year of EnovaLAB, both of which were at the heart of visitors' motivations. " This year's event was marked by dynamic exchanges between manufacturers, buyers and project developers, confirming Enova's positioning as a business show. This is evidenced by the growth in business meetings, with over 400 appointments scheduled, an increase of 64 % compared to 2014. The success of the conferences and the EnovaLAB area also demonstrate that innovation, research and new technologies are the fundamentals of the show. "said Pascal Melet, the new show manager.
