Cetim-Certec, one of the key technology skills centres and the main support of the technological dynamics of the Future Industry of the Centre-Val-de-Loire region, offers industrialists and especially SMEs in the aerospace and defence sectors a shared platform in additive manufacturing.
With financial support from the Centre-Val-de-Loire region, the Feder, the Cher department and the BourgesPlus Aglomeration community, Cetim Certec is implementing this unique system in France of shared production in additive manufacturing for companies in the region. This project of 1.5 million euros will allow a dozen industrialists to benefit from a shared platform allowing them to qualify their own investment decision.
These manufacturers can thus validate the feasibility of a new technology on their own products and can take ownership of new means by limiting financial risks. The costs are pooled and the skills multiplied with the permanent presence on the site of technicians and engineers of Cetim-Certec, who bring their know-how and provide liaison between the different participants.
This scheme complements the "Factory of the Future" project launched by the regional council, which aims to support 50 PMIs on a journey ranging from a complete diagnosis to support, to technological investment, to the establishment of a new, more competitive industrial organisation, with a special focus on humans and the reduction of the ecological footprint.
Cetim-Certec is associated with Cetim and FIM, members of the Alliance for the Industry of the Future launched by President François Hollande and Emmanuel Macron, which aims to support the country's industrial transformation. The AIF brings together professional organisations in industry and digital as well as academic and technological partners around this common ambition.
