Cetiat, the technical center for the air-conditioning and heating industries, has strengthened its international expertise with two new accreditations: AMCA International (Air Movement and Control Association International) and ARHI (Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute), confirming its role as a key player.
AMCA accreditation: a gateway to the U.S. market
Last April, Cetiat and AMCA, an American certification body specializing in aeraulic equipment, signed a collaboration agreement in the field of fans. As a result, any European manufacturer wishing to obtain AMCA certification to export its products to the American market can now call on Cetiat to carry out fan performance tests.
ARHI accreditation: opening up to new territories
Cetiat is also accredited by ARHI, an American certification association specializing in HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), to carry out equipment performance tests. By calling on the technical center's expertise, ARHI is particularly keen to extend its reach into the EMIA zone (Europe, Middle East, India, Africa). Cetiat offers strategic access to this geographic zone, enabling manufacturers based there to carry out tests on their equipment.
A reference in metrology
With these two accreditations, Cetiat is demonstrating its determination to be an international benchmark in terms of HVAC equipment performance testing. It is now the first independent European laboratory to be accredited by AMCA and ARHI. These accreditations will enable us to forge closer relationships with international manufacturers, and to offer a local service to our nationals wishing to access these certifications.
To this end, it has invested in new equipment, and plans to step up its output over the coming months to meet certification testing requirements. The industrial center's spirit of independence and expertise are thus reinforced.
