Precia Molen Service uses The service of Récylum to collect and recycle the equipment it installs and maintains. It has just equipped its 45 agencies with collection containers so that used measuring instruments are cleaned and recycled in accordance with regulations.
Precia Molen Service trusts Récylum and offers its customers a recycling service for measuring instruments: during their maintenance operations, technicians take back the used equipment in order to hand it over to Récylum, guaranteeing a treatment in accordance with the regulations. The 45 agencies are now equipped with collection bins. "The Récylum service has allowed us to harmonize our previously disparate DEEE management practices between each of our locations. The structure of Récylum, the local service and the administrative follow-up allow us to meet our obligations and commitments to sort and value our waste and those of our customers. Erik CHARY, Director of the Quality Safety Environment Department at Precia Molen Service.
Electronic equipment: waste that needs to be cleaned up!
Electrical and electronic equipment are too often equated with simple scrap metal or mundane industrial waste, and unfortunately are not treated in accordance with regulations. Indeed, the presence of certain components (piles, electronic cards, plastics with bromine flame retardant, capacitors, circuit boards ...) requires a clean-up prior to any recycling operation. This clean-up is now possible thanks to the establishment of an approved recycling chain financed by the producers of these equipment and managed by the eco-organization Recylum. It thus allows all professionals holding such waste to benefit from a collection and recycling solution respectful of regulations, the environment and health. In addition, professional electrical equipment recycles more than 75% of its weight to save natural and energy resources.
