On March 8, 9 and 10, 2016, the CFIA - crossroads of food industry suppliers - will celebrate its 20 th edition at the Parc des Expositions in Rennes! To celebrate this event, the benchmark trade fair for the agri-food industry is preparing a 2016 edition full of innovations.
Divided into 3 poles (ingredients & PAI, equipment & process, packaging & conditioning), the CFIA will allow its 16,000 expected visitors to discover new suppliers and partnerships, to benefit from expert advice, to find services or products. tailor-made and identify the most innovative solutions of the 1,450 exhibitors present. To accommodate them, the Rennes Exhibition Center is expanding with a new hall and a reconfiguration that will make it possible to offer an unprecedented offer. The Ingredients & PAI division will notably increase its surface area by 30%.
For three days, a series of events and activities will be organized around this 20 th edition. The essentials (Work In Agro, the Innovation Trophies ...), new events (the RMD club, the Imagine competition ...), conferences and Web TV ... Everything will be done to help manufacturers and suppliers to be ever more competitive.
New activities will complete the CFIA offer in 2016
RMD Club. This think tank on innovation will bring together professionals who are wondering about the intersection of know-how between Marketing and R&D. To support this approach, demonstrations and tastings will be offered in the dedicated space.
Imagine contest. How do students imagine their future jobs? This new competition will allow young people in training in the agrifood sector to express the vision they may have of their future jobs via a communication medium / a creation / a promotional tool.
Occupational Health Space. Carsat Bretagne will offer meetings and discussions on occupational health and occupational risks.
EHEDG. Combining its 10 years with the 20th edition of the CFIA, the association EHEDG France, the national branch of the European Foundation for the hygienic design of food equipment, will discuss the variety of its businesses in a dedicated area.
20 years of Innovation. In partnership with RIA, the CFIA will present surveys on the 12 most significant innovations of the last 20 years.
Web TV: agri-food news live! Debates, platters, round tables ... A real interactive platform, Web TVs allow visitors to follow the discussions on the major issues of the agrifood industry. The themes will be managed by professional media accompanied by personalities and experts from the sector.
