The ultrasonic flow meters of the FDT7000 (Omega) range are renowned for their ease of installation. The clamp-pipe sensors do not require fittings or pipe failures because they do not come into contact with the internal liquid. The technology also offers advantages over other ultrasonic devices: low cost, ease of installation, no total height loss, no moving parts to maintain or replace. Designed to operate on PVC, PP and UPVC driving systems, the FDT7000 range is suitable for most clean liquids and its wide range of measurement ensures the reliability of interpretations on liquid speeds between 0.1 and 6 meters per second. Its main features are the 4 to 20 mA transmission of the throughput, the RS485 communications (Modbus®) and the IP54 case.
