On 25 February, the Asgard Group sold its Alliansys subsidiary to a group of investors including Majest and Michel de Nonancourt, Villelec's chief executive and Snese president. Alliansys is an electronic subcontracting company (75 people, 9.5 million euros in sales) based in Honfleur, which assembles electronic cards and integrates complex equipment. The industrial partnership with the Asgard Group, about 25% of Alliansys' turnover, will continue.
The Asgard Group has built its instrumentation business with AOIP, a well-known player, whose solutions are used by more than 40,000 customers in some 60 countries covering all sectors of industry and laboratories. The Asgard Group strengthened this activity in 2010 with the acquisition of Sofimae, which offers its industrial customers maintenance, calibration and fleet management services for measuring instruments. Sofimae has three Cofrac accredited laboratories. The acquisition in 2013 of Dimelco completed the group's offer. Dimelco, a specialist distributor present throughout the country, offers test and measurement instrumentation solutions for industrial use and ensures the maintenance and verification of these equipment.
In 2015, the measurement division accounted for more than 70% of the group's turnover. The sale of the electronics business will allow the Asgard Group to refocus on its measurement business and accelerate its development in France and internationally.
