On February 25, the Asgard Group sold its Alliansys subsidiary to a group of investors including Majest and Michel de Nonancourt, CEO of Villelec and Chairman of Snese. Alliansys is an electronics subcontracting company (75 employees, sales €9.5 million) based in Honfleur, France, specializing in electronic board assembly and complex hardware integration. The industrial partnership with the Asgard group, which accounts for around 25 % of Alliansys sales, will be continued.
The Asgard Group built up its instrumentation business with AOIP, a recognized player in the measurement sector, whose solutions are used by over 40,000 customers in some sixty countries, covering all industrial and laboratory sectors. The Asgard Group strengthened this activity in 2010 with the acquisition of Sofimae, which offers its industrial customers maintenance, calibration and management services for their measuring instruments. Sofimae has three Cofrac-accredited laboratories. The acquisition of Dimelco in 2013 completed the Group's offering. Dimelco, a specialized distributor present throughout France, offers test and measurement instrumentation solutions for industrial use, and provides maintenance and verification services for this equipment.
In 2015, the measurement division accounted for over 70 % of the Group's sales. The sale of the electronics business will enable the Asgard Group to refocus on its measurement business and accelerate its development in France and abroad.
