Delta Mu announces its entry into the Italian market with the creation of Delta Mu Italia.
Supported by the BPI and the help of CCI Auvergne, Delta Mu was able to cooperate with the members of the GMEE group by creating a new entity that would also change metrological industrial practices to move towards more efficiency. The GMEE shares the same vision of the metrology business as that advocated by Delta Mu since its inception. The same desire to see the evolution of the practices of the metrologist trade, and the same objectives to know how to serve industrial excellence. Thanks to the grouping of ideas and exchanges founded and passionate Delta Mu Italia, based in Milan, was born in February 2016.
The objectives are ambitious and The president of Delta Mu Italia, Nuno Dos Reis, wants to quickly set up a team around Annarita Lazzari, to whom the commercial development of the company has been entrusted.
The acronym GMEE appeared in Italy in 1983 when the National Group for the Cooperation of Electrical and Electronic Measures was established. Since its inception, the group's objective has always been to promote and coordinate research on electrical and electronic measurements, and to promote, through the exchange of information and knowledge, coordination between academics and researchers in the sector.
The GMEE association, which has many expert researchers in the field of measurements, is a major player in national metrological activities. Indeed, the association has a significant presence on Italian territory thanks to its 42 research units hosted in the most prestigious universities and the best research institutes. Thanks to a wide network of scientific and technical relations, the members of the association are able to confront and solve the problems related to metrology on the international market.
Delta Mu Italia will participate in its first show on April 20 and 21, 2016 in Turin (Torino Lingotto). The company will be present at the event A-T Affidabilità - Tecnologie: the leading event in Italy on testing, measurements, material characterization, process and handling controls.
