The JAI GO-2400-PGE are the latest Stemmer Imaging cameras to benefit from the image quality of Sony's CMOS IMX174 sensor. High sensitivity, low digital noise and a large dynamic range with performance exceeding those of CCD cameras with comparable resolution, these cameras have many advantages, while remaining small and light.
Available in color or monochrome versions, with a GigE Vision and Power over GigE Vision interface, these Global Shutter cameras operate at a rate of 48.8 frames per second with a full resolution of 1936 x 1216 pixels (2.35 megapixels). On both models, the ROI zone can be reduced to represent up to five overlapping areas in a single field of view. This increases the rate when full resolution is not required.
The exceptional performance of these new industrial cameras is due to a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 60 dB, calculated using the usual measurement techniques. This level can be achieved thanks to the sensor's great pixel depth (> 30,000 electrons) and the low-noise architecture inherited from Sony's CCD technology.
A final remarkable feature of these new cameras concerns their compact, lightweight, yet very robust case. Measuring only 29 x 29 x 41.5 mm (not counting the lens mount), they weigh only 46 grams and are therefore much lighter than many other cameras equipped with IMX174 sensors. They also have no problem with a demanding environment: they have 80G shock resistance, 10G vibration resistance, and withstand temperatures ranging from 5C to 45C.
