On Tuesday June 21, LNE will be holding a technical day on NF ISO 17025 accreditation.
Although over 2,000 laboratories are already accredited to NF ISO/ IEC 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories", many audit returns reveal discrepancies, particularly in the "technical requirements" section of the standard. Laboratories are finding it difficult to put into practice the necessary and sufficient resources to meet these requirements. LNE invites calibration, testing and analysis laboratory technicians and managers, as well as quality managers, to a meeting on June 21, 2016 to take stock of NF ISO/CEI 17025 and its requirements.
During the day, Cofrac members, LNE experts and experienced auditors will meet to present and discuss solutions adapted to the requirements of the standard.
The day will begin with a talk by a member of Cofrac on NF ISO 17025 accreditation as recognition of competence. LNE experts will then give a presentation of the accreditation standard and its requirements. In particular, the progress of the current revision of these standards will be discussed.
The afternoon will be punctuated by two round-table discussions on the theme of "how to respond to the most frequent deviations", with the participation of experienced Cofrac auditors, LNE experts and participants in the technical day. The first round table will address specific deviations relating to personnel, environment, sampling, transport, equipment and traceability. The second will address concrete gaps in method validation, interlaboratory comparisons and measurement uncertainties.
