Lyon-based Acoem, which specializes in monitoring environmental parameters (noise, vibration, air), is continuing its international expansion, with the opening of two new subsidiaries in Germany and India.
Created in 2011 following the sale of the 01dB-Metravib activities by Areva, the Acoem Group has enjoyed sustained growth ever since, and now generates sales of over 87 million euros, including 70 % internationally through its 6 subsidiaries (Germany, Australia, Brazil, USA, India, Sweden). In line with its strategy of international expansion, the Group announces the opening of two new subsidiaries:
- Munich - Germany With a staff of 4, the new German subsidiary launched in early April 2017 will be headed by Johan Loesl, who joined Acoem in January 2016 to develop the Oneprod and Fixturlaser brands internationally.
- Vadodara - India Located 1 hour's flight from Bombay, the new Indian subsidiary inaugurated in February 2017 will be headed by Samir Sabnis, who has just joined the Group. For its commercial development, the subsidiary will rely on the presence of the Indo-Australian company Ecotech, acquired in February 2017 by the Acoem Group and specialized in air quality control.
These new subsidiaries will be responsible for marketing and supporting products and services designed to limit environmental impact: preventing noise and vibration, improving air quality, and optimizing the productivity and reliability of industrial machines. All the Group's brands will be represented, but the emphasis will be on industrial and environmental monitoring activities.
"These new subsidiaries in Germany and India illustrate our ambitious development strategy for the Acoem Group. Through the companies we acquire and our new locations, we aim to develop both the technological skills and geographical positions that will enable us to become a world leader in the buoyant market for monitoring environmental parameters", says Fabien Condemine, CEO of the Acoem Group.
