After his appointment on 1 July 2016 as CEO Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence France, Mustapha El Bouchouafi takes the direction of Q-Das and Sematec companies to offer a complete customer and a new strategy for the company.

Leading supplier of metrology and manufacturing solutions Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence announces Mustapha El Bouchouafi as CEO of Q-Das and Sematec. This appointment comes nearly a year after his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and augurs well for a rapidly developing corporate and group strategy.

Born in Holland in 1979, Mustapha El Bouchouafi holds an engineering degree (Germany) and an MBA (United States). In 2005, he joined the automotive sector as quality manager and then general manager of a subcontracting company, after having been a consultant in the telecommunications sector in Germany. In 2011, he joined the position of product manager for the very high precision Leitz range for the United States and South America, before joining the general management of Hexagon Metrology in Germany.

Now, at the head of Q-Das, supplier of software solutions and essential player for the evaluation and control of measurement and manufacturing processes and Sematec, 3D measurement service provider, Mustapha El Bouchouafi aims to make Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence France, a company that allows its customers to analyze and use the data acquired in order to offer a complete solution to its customers. The main goal is to transform large amounts of manufacturing data into real knowledge, thereby boosting business productivity. “ The industry of tomorrow is nothing without intuitive metrology: metrology 4.0. Indeed, thanks to connected objects (IoT), measurement in production flow is possible, and it makes it possible to optimize and save time and productivity. I can't wait to take on this new challenge. It is a privilege to be able to offer our customers all the skills of a complete Manufacturing Intelligence solution thanks to the complete integration of Q-Das as well as the services of Sematec ”, explains the new general manager.
