Trescal buys Assi Sistemas E Instrumentacion Sl in Spain

Trescal announces the acquisition of ASSI Sistemas e Instrumentacion SL (ASSI), the Spanish leader in metrology deed to the life science sector based in Barcelona. This is the fifth acquisition in Spain and it extends Trescal's geographical footprint to Catalonia. The transaction was completed with the support of Trescal's majority shareholder, Ardian, the independent private equity firm.

Founded in 1995, ASSI offers calibration, validation, qualification and automation services. ASSI has a calibration laboratory in Barcelona accredited by ENAC for the following sizes: temperature, humidity, pressure, mass, volume, angular speed, electricity, time, frequency, dimensional and torque.
ASSI employs 130 people and generates a turnover of 7.2 million euros.
