Jec Group, the world's leading professional composites organization, presents the new format of the prestigious Jec Innovation Awards competition and unveils the 30 finalists, divided into 10 categories. A jury made up of renowned experts will designate one winner per category. The names of the 10 winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held on March 7, 2018 as part of Jec World 2018. “ As every year, we received several hundred nominations for the Jec Innovation Awards, a success that once again shows that this program is a recognized tool for detecting and promoting innovations in the composites industry , explains Frédérique Mutel, CEO of the Jec group. Today I am pleased to announce a great novelty in this program: the public vote. Our jury will select the winners according to precise criteria, such as the involvement of partners in the value chain, technicality or even the commercial applications of innovations, but the public can also vote for their favorite application, online or from there. A new trophy representative of the sector
A brand new trophy was created for the occasion. This new composite trophy will combine pieces made of many different composite materials based on fiberglass, carbon fiber or natural fibers, thus illustrating the diversity of the sector.
