Artema, the trade union of mechatronics manufacturers, expects a good start to 2018 for all its professions. The mechanical and mecatronic components, systems and solutions of our members are present in all industrial sectors in the firststage: machinery and industrial equipment, mobile machines (TP equipment, agricultural machinery), transport equipment (automotive, aeronautics, railway, naval), and alternative for the optimization and maintenance of all plants.
The outlook for the first quarter of 2018 is positive for all our professions with well-stocked order books and a three-month outlook that is still improving. The upward trend in activity since the beginning of 2017 puts the technical decline in December into perspective. Exports in 2017 have regained their dynamism, and continue to support growth in France.
