The CFM has just launched a new working group on the metrology of the future entitled "Creative Metrology".
The group will be made up of key players in the fields of measurement, digital, industry and laboratories, and aims to lay the foundations for a new metrology capable of challenging projects related to the plant of the future.
The subject, both broad and cross-cutting, is aimed at all sectors of industrial activity.
It also encompasses many themes: smart sensors, big data, artificial intelligence, traceability and information security, normative developments... And all this in the context of a connected factory.
France is at the forefront of these guidelines and on a reflection that concerns all major industrial countries. The group is therefore intended to work first on a French-speaking environment before broadening its focus.
It is thus a question of reinventing a metrology that combines digital evolutions will be at the heart of tomorrow's productive devices.
The group will be led by Cosimi Corleto, President of the CFM and CEO of Stil.
The French College of Metrology, the association of industrial measurement, has the mission to promote good practice measurement and metrology.
To participate in the Creative Metrology working group, you only need to be a member of the CFM.
