The National Laboratory of Metrology and Testing (LNE) and the Centre for Industrial Research of Quebec (CRIQ), have signed a collaboration agreement at the CCI Paris Ile de France. This agreement will enable French and Quebec companies to benefit from the resources and expertise of the CRIQ and the LNE in terms of exports.
Canadian companies wishing to export their products to European Union countries, as well as European companies wishing to export to Canada, must be constantly on the lookout for rules and procedures surrounding the export of their products. In order to facilitate the steps taken by companies during their process of accepting products for export to their respective territories, the LNE and THE CRIQ renew their commitment to support these companies.
This agreement will translate into tests on European benchmarks (CE marking or other more specific product-related benchmarks) as well as training and technical assistance offered to French and Quebec companies.
THE CRIQ and the LNE share a common mission, know-how and culture at the service of the industry. They maintain close links with key economic development partners, research centres and industry associations. All of this puts them at the heart of companies' real innovation needs, particularly in terms of export.
The signing of this agreement is part of the dynamic Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) to facilitate exports between Canada and the European Union.
