IIOT: Idosens in the fold of Wika

Idosens S.A.S announces its incorporation into the Wika gmbh group. This acquisition strengthens the Wika Group's position in the worldof IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) and accelerates the development of its range of sensors connected around a platform and services dedicated to the industry.

"The acquisition of Idosens is in line with the Wika Group's strategy,"says Thorsten Seefried Sr VP - Head of IIOT BU. We will quickly bring to market an offer based on INDUSTRIAL sensors WIKA, certified and recognized by the industry, supported by an IIOT offer that meets the connectivity and integration needs of our customers. »

"The combination of a proven sensor offering and innovative connectivity solutions seemed to us to be the best option to be relevant to the extremely dynamic IIOT market," notes François Hede, Founding President and CEO of Idosens. "Wika's products, reputation and market access, combined with the technologies developed by Idosens, enable applications to be immediately addressed on hold of proven, robust solutions that are compatible with the objectives of 'Industry 4.0',"he adds.

This acquisition allows Idosens to accelerate its development and to consider the presentation of its new product range before the summer. The company, which has 15 employees to date, plans to double its workforce within 12 months.
