Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has announced the release of the latest version of its eMMA software suite for dimensional data management and analysis. The new version of the quality management software adds dimensional quality planning, reporting and monitoring functions to support parts and assembly manufacturers in the automotive, shipbuilding and food industries. It also offers enterprise-level performance for large datasets of measurement results, combined with fast native 3D visualization.
eMMA now integrates Q-DAS qs-STAT, enabling eMMA 3D Analyst users to seamlessly visualize, report and analyze large measurement data sets enriched with graphs and statistical process control formulas. This innovation combines the capabilities of both tools in an intuitive 3D environment. The software helps suppliers and OEMs to apply their unique evaluation strategies to measurement results from a variety of sources, regardless of the brand or model of metrology system used. This version of eMMA also offers a simplified graphical user interface, as well as new utilities such as full-text search, quick access tools for inspection plans, measurement results and templates to facilitate the analysis of dimensional data. The eMMA Assembler module has also been updated to support advanced 3D analysis between assembly structures, for example when analyzing the quality of "flushes and gaps".
" This is the first major release of eMMA since it was integrated into the Hexagon software portfolio in October 2017, and we are proud to be able to announce the integration of Q-DAS so soon after the acquisitionsaid Siegfried Heinz, Sales Support Manager and eMMA product owner. EMMA is a powerful tool for dimensional data management, quality planning and analysis, and this new feature strengthens its value proposition for a number of cross-segment use cases. "
