Mustapha El Bouchouafi, Managing Director France of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, is appointed Chairman of the Measurement, Vision and Control group of Symop.
Mustapha El Bouchouafi holds an engineering degree (Germany) and an MBA (United States). Consultant in the telecommunications sector in Germany, in 2005 he joined the automotive sector as quality manager and then general manager of a subcontracting company. He joined the Hexagon group in 2011 as product manager for the Leitz very high precision range (MMT) for the United States and South America, before joining the general management of Hexagon Metrology in Germany. He will then be appointed CEO of the French subsidiary on July 1, 2016.
“ I am very happy with the confidence given by all the Symop members. Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is involved in all stages of the manufacturing process. It starts with the design, and we support the customer through to the product through machining simulation, metrology, and data analysis through all of our subsidiaries, ”says Mustapha El Bouchouafi, elected to the majority of people present. His mandate takes effect immediately and for a minimum period of one year.
