Founded in 1992 and PJLA ISO/CEI 17025 accredited, MATsolutions offers calibration services in the electrical, dimensional, optical and physical quantity fields. At the same time, the company sells test and measurement equipment on a second-hand basis after repair and overhaul. MATsolutions employs 24 people and achieved sales of $6.5 million in 2017, mainly in the telecom, electronics and aerospace sectors.
Founded in 1996, NorthLab is a metrology service provider based in Singapore and Malaysia (Selangor and Labuan). Its laboratories are SAC-SINGLAS (ISO/CEI 17025) and SAMM (ISO/CEI 17025) accredited. NorthLab, which caters for the petrochemical, shipbuilding and engineering industries, employs 90 people and achieved sales of 4 million euros. Two of the four founders, Sunil Nair and Vaidyanathan Srikrishnan, will remain in place to ensure the continued development of the business.

These are the fifth and sixth acquisitions since Trescal was taken over by Omers, the main shareholder in the Trescal group.
