The Fédération de la Plasturgie et des Composites and Bpifrance are launching the first promotion of the Plastics & Composites Accelerator: 17 SMEs & ETI supported to boost their growth.
To improve the competitiveness of companies in the sector, the Federation of Plastics and Composites is joining forces with Bpifrance to launch the first promotion of the Plastics and Composites Accelerator, dedicated to 17 manufacturers. Targeted and personalized, this 24-month program aims to accelerate the growth of companies and give them the keys to face the challenges of tomorrow (skills development, digital, internationalization, innovation, etc.).
Announced in June 2018, the Plastics and Composites Accelerator, under the French Fab banner, aims to support manufacturers in the sector in developing a sustainable business model. The circular economy and eco-design will be at the heart of this program. The plastics and composites industry occupies an important place in the French economic fabric, because it is linked to a multitude of markets (aeronautics, automotive, etc.). The turnover of the French plastics industry totaled just over 30 billion euros, making it the 3rd European player and the 6th global player.
For 24 months, members will benefit from both individual and collective support, offering:

an individual diagnosis aimed at identifying priority growth drivers and supporting the company in its strategic thinking by identifying the brakes. It will be carried out in the form of audits carried out by consultants selected by Bpifrance;

two in-depth modules which will be defined according to the results of this diagnosis to allow the deployment of a concrete action plan on the theme chosen by the company (internationalization, innovation, digital, etc.);

Collective training sessions, provided by the Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau on specific themes to feed the strategic thinking of managers;

Networking to materialize growth opportunities.
The promotion's SMEs and mid-cap companies will be able to benefit from a proven program: in March 2019, 650 companies had gone through a Bpifrance Accelerator, deployed by Bpifrance itself or in partnership with sectors and Regions.
