Eddyfi Technologies announces the launch of Panther, a new ultrasonic imaging system. Designed for laboratories and industrial inspection, Panther is an instrument dedicated to multi-element ultrasonic non-destructive testing (UUTP), and in particular to the all-point focusing method (FTP or TFM).
A compact device, Panther combines the very high acquisition speeds required for conventional multi-element ultrasonic non-destructive testing with a complete set of imaging techniques adapted to the TFM method.
Industrial laboratories and R&D groups will particularly appreciate its high-definition TFM imaging of over 1.5 million pixels in real time, and data transfer speeds in excess of 320 MB/s. Combined with its Acquire software, Panther is the fastest and most versatile PAUT/TFM solution on the market.
Panther will offer very high-speed inspection modes, targeting integrators for manufacturing and industrial inspection. Thanks to its parallel architecture and the possibility of nesting several instruments (up to 16 units with 128 channels each), Panther will meet the speed and resolution requirements of the most demanding applications.
" Panther is the result of over 15 years' experience gathered by our experts in production and laboratory controls. It has been designed to offer a very high data transfer capacity between the device and the associated computer, enabling it to meet the most demanding needs and expectations of our customers. The new performance of graphics processing units (GPUs) integrated into compact, industrial and affordable PCs enables us to offer a flexible solution for both laboratory use and production control. Panther bridges the gap between multi-element inspection methods such as TFM and the high-speed ultrasonic inspection requirements of industry. "explains Laurent Le Ber, Eddyfi Product Manager for Panther.
Panther is compact and available in a wide range of configurations, from 32:128 to 2048:2048 channels. Acquire software and its Software Development Kit (SDK) enable fast, advanced and customized configurations. Inspection data from Acquire software is fully compatible with Enlight, Civa and Ultis analysis software.
