The KPM Analytics Group announces the simultaneous acquisition of Sightline Process Control (3D vision) and Sensortech Systems (humidity measurement), the group's 5th and 6th acquisitions since the founding of KPM in 2015.
Sightline Process Control: 3D color vision control
Sightline is a Canadian company based in Ottawa, specializing in automated inspection systems based on 3D color vision technology, used in production control and quality control. The main applications of 3D vision are in the agri-food industries, such as industrial bakery, snacking, meat and poultry processing, etc. Sightline's automated solutions help improve quality, increase productivity and reduce operating costs throughout the food manufacturing process.
Sightline is expanding the KPM Group's offer to food manufacturers, in addition to the activities of the group's sister companies: Chopin Technologies (quality control of cereals and flours), AMS Alliance (automated analysis devices), Process Sensors (temperature and humidity control) and Unity Scientific (NIR analyzers).
Sensortech Systems: moisture measurement in process control
Located in the United States, California, Sensortech Systems specializes in the measurement and control of moisture in real time on production lines, based on the mastery of two complementary technologies: near-infrared reflectance (NIR) and radiofrequency (RF).
In 35 years, Sensortech has established itself as one of the leading leaders in moisture control in production, with proven efficiency and the development of a full range of automated instruments and solutions.
With Sensortech, the KPM Group is strengthening its near-infrared expertise - a technology already present at sister companies Process Sensors and Unity Scientific - and increasing its offering in the area of moisture control during production (activity shared with Process Sensors), and adding radiofrequency (RF) to its technology portfolio.
