On July 19, Carl Zeiss SAS and Measurement Control Center (MCC), a metrology and instrumentation laboratory based in Mohammedia, Morocco, signed an official partnership agreement to provide installation, calibration and maintenance services for Zeiss three-dimensional measurement machines.
Measurement Control Center offers multi-range, multi-technique calibration and/or testing services, both in the laboratory and on site. The MCC calibration and dimensional metrology laboratory is equipped with standards connected to the international calibration chain through Cofrac, Semac, Tunac or equivalent accredited laboratories. Zeiss will be providing training and demonstrations throughout the Maghreb: Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.
Thanks to the acquisition of a Zeiss Duramax three-dimensional measuring machine, Measurement Control Center is also able to provide measurement services for local manufacturers.
"We are proud to formalize and deepen our collaboration with Zeiss. This partnership, which fits in perfectly with the company's development strategy, will enable us to guarantee the confidence of our customers and the acquisition of ISO 17025 V2017 accreditation. This new agreement will inaugurate our new premises in the Mohammedia industrial zone, which already house the Zeiss measuring machine and will enable us to welcome all our customers in the best possible conditions", said Hafid Mohamed, General Manager at MCC Maroc.
"This is a major step forward in the development of Zeiss' business in North Africa. This collaboration brings us even closer to our local customers in the automotive and aerospace sectors. The partnership enables us to provide more effective support to the growing number of industrial groups", emphasized Adrien Maire, Maghreb Sales Manager for Zeiss IQS.
