Testia, an Airbus subsidiary specializing in aerostructure inspection services and tools, was awarded the Grand Prix V.I.E Entreprises in the ETI (intermediate-sized company) category, in the presence of Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs. The event, organized by Medef, Business France and the CCE, represented the 3rd edition of this ceremony, which celebrates the success of companies in the V.I.E. program every two years.
Created by Business France, the V.I.E is a program that enables young French people to go abroad on behalf of French companies. Testia made particular use of this program in 2018-2019, recruiting three technical sales representatives for the UK, Canada and Singapore.
In particular, the company was praised for its commitment to its young recruits, the warm welcome it extended to them, and the quality of their assignments. The organizers also praised the confidence Testia has shown in its V.I.E. recruits, and the enthusiasm with which each of them has embarked on this adventure.
"The award goes to Testia as a whole. I believe that the success of this program would not have been as strong without the cooperation of all our employees, who supported our V.I.E's by offering them training and advice to help them carry out their missions in the best possible conditions", reacted David Rottembourg, Testia's CEO, proudly.
Their Manager, Sales Director Teddy Canadas, also praised his team for their fine achievements. "I'm very proud of them. They have contributed tremendously to our global strategy and have helped our development and sales flourish in their respective regions. I thank them for their energy and enthusiasm, and look forward to continuing to work with them," he declared.
"The position we've been given represents a very stimulating challenge; I particularly appreciate the diversity of my missions, as well as the confidence of my manager, who gives me a lot of autonomy", said Maxime, technical sales representative in Singapore.
Testia has since welcomed another V.I.E in charge of Spain.
