Additel Corporation, which specializes in the design and manufacture of portable test tools and calibrators, has launched a new automated pressure calibrator: ADT761A.
Building on improvements to the ADT761 calibrator that has contributed to Additel's worldwide success since 2005, the new ADT761A extends the pressure range to 70 bar (1,000 psi) and features two removable sensors, an easy-to-use color touchscreen and enhanced communications, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and Ethernet. Standard accuracy models provide 0.02% FS accuracy, while high accuracy models offer 0.01% FS accuracy.
With a patented built-in pump, the ADT761A series of pressure calibrators offers users convenient, portable automated pressure generation and control. Six different models are available, covering a combined range from -30 inH2O (-75 mbar) to 70 bar (1000 psi). The ADT761-LLP model covers ± 30 in H2O (± 75 mbar), while the ADT761-D allows a range from -13.5 to 35 psi (-0.95 to 2.5 bar). These instruments are used in the pharmaceutical and Delta P transmitter industries.
When higher pressures are required, models ADT761-500 and ADT716A-1K cover ranges from -0.90 to 35 bar.relative (-13 to 500 psig) and -0.90 to 70 bar.relative ( -13 to 1000 psig) respectively. With optional external pressure modules (ADT160A series), the 761A can measure pressures up to 700 bar (10,000 psi) with an accuracy of 0.02% FS, and up to 4,200 bar (60,000 psi) at 0.1% FS. The 761A also incorporates Hart and Profibus communication capabilities for use with units under test. With 6 MB of internal data storage, users can store up to 1,000,000 time-stamped readings.
