Bucci Industries France announces the signing of an agreement with the Italian group Marposs, a global specialist in dimensional measurement equipment for industry. With this agreement, signed on November 6, 2019 in Cluses, during the open days organized by its Control division, Bucci Industries France obtains exclusive distribution in Haute-Savoie of Marposs control solutions. The company is now in a position to meet all the control needs of machining professionals.
In 2006, Bucci Industries France took its first steps into inspection with Sinteco, part of the Italian Bucci Industries group, specializing in inspection lines for mass production. Thanks to the know-how acquired in automation and inspection techniques, the company expanded its offer with VisiControl -Germany- and their range of automatic machines for camera-based conformity inspection of produced parts. Since 2017, it has been offering Nikon Metrology laser inspection machines to meet the needs of bar turning and complex machining professionals, as well as, since 2019, its range of digital microscopes, binoculars and profile projectors. For the latter two brands, Bucci Industries France provides project management for each project, including the sale of solutions, installation and after-sales service.
With Marposs solutions, the "value-added supplier" continues to expand its offering in the control sector to meet all the needs of professionals based in Haute-Savoie. A strategy already applied in the Machine Tool Peripherals division, based on complementary skills and solutions to cover a market in its entirety.
For Didier Bouvet, Managing Director of Bucci Industries France, control represents a real strategic issue in the service of productivity, which comes within the framework of 4.0 production. He has also chosen to strengthen the Control division with several new hires in recent months. "Bucci Industries France is beginning to be identified as a major player in the control field. With our new Marposs offer, machining professionals based in Haute-Savoie will be able to equip themselves with affordable "classic" solutions, comparable to other systems on the market (e.g. Optoquick). But we'll also be able to offer them equipment offering greater precision and substantial productivity gains, such as Optoflash", he comments.
Three ranges of Marposs solutions were presented at the open days.
The first diameter-measuring range -Marposs Testar- comprises three types of solution: classic with a dial gauge, with a wired measuring pad and finally with a wireless measuring pad. The latter technology -bluetooth- has met with great success, as it has the advantage of working in both directions (transmitter/receiver), compared with radio frequency, which only works in one direction.
The second measurement range presented -Marposs Aeroel-, using laser optical forks, is modular according to requirements. Repeatability accuracy is 0.07 microns across the entire range. These machines are used to inspect cutting tools, gears and complex multi-diameter parts.
Finally, Marposs camera technology comprises two types of machine. In the first -Optoquick-, an optical fork moves along the part. In the second case, the new generation of machine -Optoflash- enables the user to gain in speed and precision, since the part is measured in a single operation, without any mechanical movement.
Bucci Industries France and Marposs share the same vision, both in terms of product expertise and the provision of technology to customers. Marposs is a family-owned group, in existence since 1952. It employs 3,500 people and generates sales of €550 million, with a presence in all industrialized countries. Marposs France, founded in 1968, employs 105 people and has a production unit in France to meet specific customer requirements.
