Boosted by increased demand from industry (32% of new exhibitors), Forum Labo (a trade show for suppliers of laboratory equipment and services in the fields of research, analysis and control), a CIFL event, is extending its exhibition area by 25 % and is already fully booked with 220 exhibiting companies.
Forum Labo, to be held at the Cité-Centre de Congrès in Lyon on March 25 and 26, 2020, confirms its position as the leading French-language trade show for the laboratory profession.
A major scientific event, Forum Labo Lyon will be the showcase for laboratory innovations for 3,000 researchers, engineers, buyers and decision-makers from the Rhône-Alpes/Auvergne region (over 15 % of the national laboratory market, i.e. 310 M€ - source CIFL) as well as from Switzerland, Italy and Belgium.
Forum Labo Lyon's main assets: a format featuring 18 training sessions offered by exhibitors, 10 scientific conferences hosted by 12 learned societies, and over 700 business meetings accelerating business opportunities for research professionals, combining conviviality and innovation over two days.
The 2020 edition also provides an opportunity to host the Clara Forum (Cancéropôle Lyon Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). The Clara Forum is aimed at all those involved in cancer research, whatever their sector of activity or scientific discipline. A varied program is on offer, including scientific conferences, business meetings, project pitches open to collaboration, poster prizes, and an evening for the general public dedicated to nutrition.
