Improved process safety thanks to Cerabar and Deltabar
Endress + Hauser launches the new Cerabar and Deltabar pressure transmitters. Thanks to their Bluetooth interface, they are easier to use and easier to maintain in security systems. A high level of security, combined with high plant productivity and availability, are the basis of our enhanced security approach. Heartbeat technology makes it possible to check the functionality of devices without interrupting the process. The new Cerabar and Deltabar pressure sensors will be launched in the 4th quarter of 2020.

Ease of use is a major advantage for many reasons. Many industries face a growing shortage of qualified personnel. Major facility overhauls often involve service providers whose staff do not have extensive knowledge of the equipment and systems present on site. The quantity of safety-related equipment has also increased sharply in recent years, for example in the chemical industry, and with it the number of expensive iterative tests for SIL.
