Reducing the probe's round bore makes the flow meter more resistant in terms of pressure hold and provides high accuracy over a wide range of pressure and temperature.
In addition, it has a high flow ratio without the risk of cavitation. The built-in temperature measurement eliminates the need for an additional probe, minimizing stitching on the pipes and allowing for more data from the process.
The AF-E 400 also has complete self-diagnosis features: the flow meter continuously monitors several critical aspects, including a drop in power voltage, incorrect settings, flow scale overruns or short circuits on one of the exits. Thanks to the special design of its magnetic circuit, the strength of its magnetic field and its electronics, the AF-E 400 is insensitive to parasitic couplings caused by the overlays of magnetic fields of nearby devices. The rated sensor sizes range from DN6 to DN25 for speeds of up to 150 l/min as standard and up to 500 l/min on demand.
