The first and only full bore 0 x DN electromagnetic flowmeter without diameter reduction and without loss of flow...
In our video below, discover our latest technological innovation, which overcomes the usual constraints of flow measurement in closed conduits, while guaranteeing maximum measurement performance.
Excellent measurement accuracy regardless of mounting location
- downstream of a bend
- downstream of intrusive elements
- downstream of deposit in pipe
- downstream of pipes of different diameters
- downstream of T-pieces
- downstream of protruding joints
Best independent flow profile measurement performance (± 0.5 % accuracy).
Perfect solution for installation in confined spaces, e.g. on skids; especially after fittings and other obstacles that generate turbulence in the pipe.
Innovative measurement signal analysis
The new and innovative measuring concept of the Promag W (0 x DN) features several measuring electrodes that detect the flow rate. This generates a much higher density of measured values than standard devices. Thanks to in-depth signal analysis, reliable measurement results are possible even with vortex flow.
What's the difference with a standard flowmeter?
Previously, in the event of flow disturbances, plant designers had to either comply with the recommended upstream/downstream straight lengths, or use a device with a restricted measuring tube to achieve a stable fluid regime. Restrictions in the measuring tube lead to a loss of head, with higher energy consumption and costs for pump operation. Where straight pipe sections are not long enough, use of the Promag 0 x DN allows flexible installation and economical operation, while guaranteeing reliable measurements!
Transmitter technology for easy system integration
The Promag W can be combined with various transmitters: as a compact version (Proline 300/400) or as a separate version (Proline 400/500) with up to 4 inputs and outputs. There's no compromise when it comes to performance and precision. Digital signal processing begins in the intelligent sensor and forms the basis for reliable, accurate measurement. Full access to all measured values, including diagnostic data acquired by Heartbeat Technology, is always possible via digital data transmission or inputs/outputs.
