After a positive first year, the Allice structure - Alliance Industrielle pour la compétitivité et l'efficacité énergétique (Industrial Alliance for Competitiveness and Energy Efficiency) - is opening up its capital to two new shareholders: the Centre technique des industries de la fonderie (Ctif) and the Centre technique de matériaux naturels de construction (CTMNC).
Opening up to these two new industrial sectors is in line with Allice's development strategy.
Energy efficiency in industry should not only help reduce consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, but also be an essential component in improving the productivity, quality and flexibility of industrial units. Cetiat (Centre Technique des Industries Aérauliques et Thermiques), together with Cetim (Centre Technique des Industries Mécaniques), CTCPA (Centre Technique de la Conservation des Produits Agricoles), Enea Consulting and in collaboration with CEA Liten, thus created the Allice entity in 2018 with the aim of structuring the energy efficiency sector in industry and supporting innovation in this field.
"With three technical centers - Cetiat, Cetim and CTCPA - already among its shareholders, Allice boasts a technical culture that spans the aeraulics and heat engineering, mechanical engineering and food processing sectors. To accelerate its development, Allice needs to rally more supply and demand players around the national objectives of decarbonizing industry. This is why Allice is broadening the spectrum of its actions aimed at manufacturers by opening up its capital to two other CTIs: CTIF and CTMNC. In addition to enhancing cross-functionality, this integration will enable us to pool our thinking and foster the emergence of innovative collaborative projects in the industrial energy efficiency sector.says the alliance.
