Developed by German company KTG, Secuscan is a new under-vehicle scanning and inspection system. It will be presented for the very first time in France by HTDS at the next Milipol trade show, to be held in Paris from November 14 to 17, 2023.
Marketed exclusively in France by HTDS, this new under-vehicle inspection system uses scanning technology to quickly and easily detect dangerous objects (explosives, drugs, weapons, contraband, etc.) and concealed persons at checkpoints. In particular, Secuscan provides a view of the entire undercarriage (including door sills and running boards).
One of Secuscan's distinctive features is its ability to deliver high-resolution, full-color image quality, while maintaining a fast inspection flow at inspection stations and protecting agents working outside a protected checkpoint.
Available in fixed or mobile versions, and featuring advanced continuous zoom technology and an automatic foreign object detection algorithm, Secuscan enables inspection of the finest details. Any anomaly detected in the image is highlighted in red on the control screen, to facilitate the operator's decision.
This inspection system has the advantage of offering optional Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) for all types of vehicle, with high speed and accuracy.
In addition to under-vehicle inspection, Secuscan incorporates a scene camera that creates a photo of the top view of the vehicle as it passes through the inspection zone. With this option, the operator is able to check the roof of trucks and other vehicles to inspect all blind spots.
Last but not least, Secuscan also provides different types of solutions for taking an image of the driver.
