Opton Laser's partner Photon etc is building on its infrared expertise by expanding its offering for preclinical imaging applications in the 2nd Nir-II biological window with 2 new instruments.
ClaIR
ClaIR is a microplate reader in the Nir-II. It records fluorescence from 900 nm to 1600 nm and transmittance from 500 nm to 1600 nm. Using the included software, the ClaIR plate reader can be used in a wide range of kinetic and equivalence point analysis applications. The instrument is supplied with your preferred laser excitation sources, which can be complemented by a high-power tunable light source. To extend in vivo measurement capabilities, a table probe is available as an option.
- Absorbance and fluorescence spectroscopy
- Microplates from 1 to 1536 wells, user-defined
- Adjustable height from bottom to mid-height of well
IRina
The IRina in vivo spectral probe can provide spectral measurements throughout the Nir-II range. Ideal for measuring the fluorescence emission of nanosensors or novel dyes, its small form factor and ergonomic benchtop design enable easy measurement inside small live animals or thick tissue. Thanks to the included PHySpec software, multiple acquisitions and time series are easy to acquire and analyze.
- Quantify photon emission and spectral shift of biosensors in real time
- Spectral resolution 5nm
- Spectral sampling ~1.6nm
