Faced with the uncertain health situation which continues to cause many postponements of exhibitions and events, Photonics France is organizing the Photonics Online Meetings # 2 which will take place remotely on December 3, 2020. After a successful 1 st edition with 165 participating entities and more than 300 visitors, make way for # 2!

This event, launched so that players in the photonics sector can find network and business actions will be the opportunity for major contractors in a wide variety of fields such as Alstom, Bonduelle, Dassault Aviation, Itnovem (SNCF), MBDA or Zeiss to succeed in solving business questions with technology suppliers and to discover, among other things, new trends in photonics. In fact, on December 3, more than 200 French and European companies are expected.

Major contractors, technology and service providers, investors and conference attendees, the list of participating entities to date is available online .

Committed European partners

The objective is to bring together the entire photonics ecosystem, to facilitate and support meetings in this current difficult context by providing solutions to the challenges to come in France and abroad. Photonics Austria, Swiss Photonics, Litec, Spectaris and others are also supporting this event for a strong European representation.

About ten free webinars scheduled

With an average of 10 one-to-one 20-minute meetings between contractors and technology suppliers, the participants' R&D, production, sales and purchasing departments will be available all day on schedule.

Several webinars will also be presented, open to all upon simple registration (free) including “Photonic solutions developed to respond to manufacturers and laboratories for analysis, evaluation and diagnostic purposes” from Polytec, “Fluoride glass technology in the face of challenges of the 21st century ”by Le Verre Fluoré,“ Photonics and spectral technologies. When Christmas is probed by light, from ultraviolet to infrared… ”from Idil Fibers Optiques,“ d-scan: how to improve your femtosecond lasers and their applications ”from Sphere Photonics,“ eyeMOTION: acquisition platform multi-cameras, hardware control and image processing for custom vision solutions ”from Photon Lines or“ Laser Driven Light Source: A revolutionary single-light source technology ”from Hamamatsu. Interventions by Jean-Luc Beylat (Nokia) on behalf of Horizon Europe and Photonics21 on the theme “Photonics as a critical Key Enabling Technology for Europe's Technological Sovereignty”, by Jan-Erik Kallhammer (Veoneer) on the mobility / climate roadmap / energy from Photonics21 “Photonics within mobility” and Business France on the Asian market are also worth noting.
