Vision Engineering announces the launch of VE Cam, a new, compact, easy-to-use digital microscope for a wide range of applications.

With nearly 20 years of experience in integrating video cameras into inspection systems, Vision Engineering has been offering VE Cam since January 2022. VE Cam is a compact Full HD video microscope for fast and accurate inspection. It is available in two variants with different fields of view (FOV) – VE Cam 50 (50 mm FOV) and VE Cam 80 (80 mm FOV) – which offer the power, speed and efficiency of digital imaging in a compact package.

Packed with both innovative and classic features, VE Cam allows users to do more with optimal use of space, and is ideal for many routine inspection tasks.

It allows control of settings and zoom directly on the touch screen or through the provided mouse.

Enhanced productivity features include 10 user-programmable presets, six shortcut keys for instant access to the most commonly used presets.

The recording of images can be done on a USB key.

LED lighting, controllable, is integrated.

In addition, the VE Cam 50 and VE Cam 80 use digital technology that supports the immediate capture and sharing of information between teams, such as remote wi-fi display, meaning colleagues can view live images on a PC or tablet without interrupting the workflow, thus improving the efficiency and speed of inspection.

With numerous media options, applications include electronics, mechanical engineering, plastics, additive manufacturing and ceramics, as well as life sciences.
