Stemmer Imaging announces the availability of a new IDS uEye camera, a new compact industrial camera with an excellent price-to-performance ratio. LauEye ML USB with USB 2.0 interface is robust, lightweight and compact thanks to its magnesium case. Its Hirose USB connector is lockable and the metal case ensures its operation even in extreme industrial environments (e.g. metal processing, robotics, electrical and medical engineering). This camera can receive C-mounted or CS-mounted lenses as well as two I/O, an optically decoupled trigger and an I/S flash.

The uEye ML USB is equipped with the latest-generation 1.3-megapixel CMOS sensor from cheze2v that offers exceptional sensitivity, available in color, monochrome, and NIR versions. This camera is particularly suitable for computer applications, quality control, microscopy, medical engineering or industrial vision. E2v's EV76C560/EV76C661 are the first sensors to offer four shutter modes and allow the switch from one mode to another while the camera is running. Thus, the sensor offers greater flexibility in the event of changing application requirements and is suitable for a wide range of needs. This new camera delivers 25 frames per second in full resolution (1280 x 1024 pixels).

In addition, IDS's optimized and free software suite supports the new USB uEye ML cameras. In addition, the uEye Cockpit and the IDS camera manager are perfect tools to easily install and configure cameras.
