Light source - Excimer lamp

Hamamatsu Photonics has just released the excimer source L12530: compact, lightweight, ideal for research and development in surface cleaning and processing applications. Hamamatsu has reduced the size of its original excimer light source with its compact case, while offering the same high level of performance. This all-in-one concept gives it great ease of use for fieldwork.

In addition to a light irradiation of 50 mW / cm2 to 172 nm, this source is highly uniform over the entire surface of the rectangular lamp (86 x 40 mm). It is integrated into a case in which the intensity of irradiation can be easily changed thanks to a height adjustable support. With the use of an RF discharge, these design features allow for highly efficient material modification and cleaning capabilities compared to similar products.

In addition to being equipped with simple functions, the Ex-mini can also be supplied with an ozone decomposition unit, making its indoor use even easier, eliminating the need to install external drains.
