Micro-Epsilon's new IFS2404-2 chromatic confocal sensor is used for distance measurement and thickness measurement of transparent materials. With a diameter of just 12 mm, the compact sensor can also be integrated into tight spaces. Thanks to innovative lens technology, the sensor offers high measurement accuracy with a small light spot diameter.
Thanks to its special lens technology, the IFS2404-2 confocalDT offers high resolution with a small light spot. Together with the confocalDT 2421/2422 controller, the new sensor offers excellent value for money for OEM applications.
Micro-Epsilon's confocalDT 2421 and 2422 controllers have become the new industry standard when it comes to high-precision confocal measurement technology. Thanks to their presentation as single-channel and dual-channel models, these chromatic confocal measuring systems offer a cost-effective solution, particularly for serial applications. The system operates without contact or wear. Active exposure time adjustment of the CCD array enables fast, precise compensation of different surfaces.
The EtherCAT interface outputs data in real time. Thickness calibration enables precise thickness measurement over the entire sensor measuring range.
