Light Tec announces the marketing of the infrared version of its Mini-Diff V2, a surface scattering function (BSDF) measurement solution.
Mini-Diff V2 IR is a compact, easy-to-use optical system that uses a matrix camera to characterize the broadcast. It measures the BRDF and BTDF of all types of materials and objects at 940 nm and 850 nm.
Measurements are taken in less than 30 seconds for each angle of impact.
This measurement solution is aimed at all optical designers using lighting design software to develop near-infrared sensors.
Autonomous cars, IR sensors for 3D television, augmented reality and material characterization for LIDAR are among the possible applications of the Mini-Diff V2 IR.
Note: an RGB version of the instrument is also available for measurements on the visible spectrum.
