Specialist in optical inspection, Marposs strives to offer ever more efficient solutions.
For example, the Optoflash, one of its novelties, offers a balance between flexibility, precision and speed. The Optoflash thus allows measurement by presentation of the part between the grippers of a robot. No need to waste time putting down the part to check it!
The robot can also present the part from different angles in order to check several faces. With a robust architecture, the Optoflash takes place in environments such as line edges or in production lines, while preserving metrological measurement quality.
The Optoflash has a completely static optical zone. Whereas a conventional mechanical system has to move the optics to the point to be checked on the part, with the Optoflash the part can be “flashed” in one go. This peculiarity gives it the ability to perform static and dynamic measurements in a production environment in record time.
According to Marposs, Optoflash is proving to be extremely useful in the fasteners, automotive, aerospace and medical industries, and therefore for the control of fasteners, shafts and dental implants respectively.
Its software interface is intended to be intuitive and easy to program. A large library of measurement ranges allows you to integrate measurements of form, thread, and other types of measurement. The software, which can be used from the touch screen, offers the possibility of easily programming new types of parts, by acquiring the plan from the part or by importing a drawing.
“From a general point of view, the absence of a mechanical part allows constant and stable repeatability as well as minimal maintenance of the equipment,” explains Marposs. The Optoflash is the new generation of precision machines up to 30 cm "
Marposs also offers a wide range that can measure parts up to four feet as standard, and more in special need specifications, as well as multiple solutions for shafts, camshafts, crankshafts, tracking traceability and automated loading.
