Stuttgart Trade Fair - Exhibition

Messe Stuttgart will organize the next edition of Vision, an image processing fair, from October 5 to 7, 2021. The organizer thus responds to the wishes of exhibitors and visitors who, in a large survey, expressed themselves overwhelmingly (75% of exhibitors surveyed and 81% of visitors) in favor of holding the show next year. The new trade show schedule now held in odd-numbered years at the same time as Motek, the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, is expected to remain in effect for a very long time.

“Vision continues to evolve dynamically as does the entire imaging industry. We are using the current challenges to take further measures which will once again be of benefit to the fair in the long term, ” explains Florian Niethammer, team leader and responsible for the Vision project at Messe Stuttgart. In addition to the strategic measures already undertaken for 2020, for example the launch of Vision Start-up World or a vast communication offensive on the Chinese market, Messe Stuttgart plans to extend the experience lived at Vision 2021 with digital tools. A virtual replacement of the show canceled in 2020 is however not planned.

Klaus-Henning Noffz, Director New Business Development Basler AG and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the VDMA Machine Vision specialist department, which is the promoter of the world's leading image processing trade fair, is pleased with the approach of Messe Stuttgart: “Vision is the hub and engine of the imaging industry. We look forward to a strong edition of Vision in 2021 with once again many personal meetings with business contacts and friends from all over the world ” . Gabriele Jansen, Managing Partner Vision Ventures and member of the board of directors of EMVA, welcomes the decision of the organizer of the show: “Vision is the great driving force of the sector: we make and maintain important commercial contacts, we present innovations and talk about future developments. We are therefore all the more happy to meet there next year in Stuttgart. "

Vision maps, every two years, the image processing technology sector. In addition to top-notch exhibitors from all over the world, the fair also offers a varied support program. Thus, popular events will be organized again in 2021, for example the “Industrial Vision Days”, a world conference forum for image processing.
