The new Fluke T6 electrical testers with FieldSense technology measure voltage and current without test leads, for safer, faster and more efficient troubleshooting of electrical systems.
People who use electrical testers to measure voltage and current know that the process is usually time-consuming and fraught with risk. Fluke T6 Electrical Testers offer a faster way to take electrical readings on distribution panels and junction boxes, among other applications. These tools capture an electric field in the "U" of the fork, making it easy to take measurements.
T6 electrical testers go beyond simple detection. They enable cable-free measurement of AC voltage, current and frequency. Thanks to the test cables supplied, the tools can also measure AC/DC voltage, resistance and continuity.
The Fluke T6-600 and T6-1000 testers allow electricians :
- work in safer conditions: they can measure voltages up to 1,000 V with the fork open, without test leads or exposed conductors.
- faster: no longer needing to open panels or remove cable nuts, they can troubleshoot faster.
- more efficient: they can simultaneously measure and display voltage and current with the T6-1000. The latter also measures resistance up to 100 kΩ.
- to be everywhere: with the widest open fork on the market, T6 testers measure 4/0 cables with currents of up to 200 A.
At the heart of the T6 testers is the new Fluke FieldSense technology. It enables them to display voltage and current measurements simultaneously and reliably, rather than just detecting voltage.
These rugged testers are certified to 1000 V CAT III and 600 V CAT IV (600 V CAT III for model T6-600), and feature a large, easy-to-read backlit display.
