The ECND Academy workshop-school was created in response to a need expressed by industry for individual training, and in the face of a predicted shortage of skills and methods, both in France and internationally, in the field of non-destructive testing and evaluation.
Supported by Le Mans Université, the ECND Academy is a consortium born of the mobilization of highly committed public and private players. Today, 3 major players in the aeronautics, space, automotive and construction sectors have joined the consortium: Arconic Fixations Simmonds SAS, CTTM (Le Mans technology transfer center) and Safran.
The ECND Academy is a pragmatic, immediately operational response of the highest academic quality to the strong demand for professional qualifications in the field of industrial non-destructive testing and evaluation.
Le Mans Université is the only university in France to offer this type of training, from post Bac to Bac+8, whether initial, continuing or professional, in-class or by distance learning, and featuring a host of innovative teaching methods.
By joining the Consortium, these 3 new members aim to contribute to the development of the industry and to the optimization of the training offer, in order to best meet the expectations of companies both in France and abroad.
